Arguably, I'm of the mind that what's happening in the spirit world is spilling over into the physical, as its always wont to do. When and where that happens, people tend to suffer. Often that suffering becomes localized & creates things like unrest, violent outbursts, and increases in things like troubled escapism.
Essentially, suffering begets more of the same, and while we say that misery wants company, its more like misery doesn't know anything other than loneliness and so it can't recognize something different.
As a Vajrayanist, my "job", my function is to interact with spirits as a go-between and medium, as well as a bridge by which each side of the equation can get what they want out of the interaction.
My advice to you, if you're in the market and want a chance at easier interactions, is to give small offerings of coffee and butter, with a pinch of salt. Give those three things: acid, base and starter, and ask for calm. See what happens, report below, or come ping me on Socials. ;)
