I spend a great deal of time watching people.  I find it interesting to observe their behaviors because it affords me the ability to better understand what makes people tick.  In turn, I get to figure myself out and better grasp how magical things work.

That people-watching habit of mine has come in handy over the years.  Now is one such time, as I've come to notice that as a general rule, people are having a great deal of trouble, emotionally and otherwise.  Things are happening that are making folks very unhappy, with no concrete or happy end in sight.  I've found myself giving the advice "endure this, as it'll pass" time and time again over the past few weeks.
Picture
And that's the long and short of it: "This too shall pass". Pluto's movements have been wreaking havoc in people's lives.  We've seen it before, with Mercury's retrogrades causing communication problems or Mars causing folks to fight, but for some reason Pluto is so much worse....so much stronger. Observing this and feeling the strain has caused me to come to some interesting realizations, to be sure.

This post is partly to share those realizations, partly to offer comfort, and also to offer advice and services to those in need.

Pluto is something like Saturn's shadow, astrologically speaking.  It speaks of the deep mind, of the Jungian Shadow, of constraint and barriers, and perhaps more importantly of our breaking points.  Where Saturn shows us how far we can go before we are pained, Pluto illustrates where our "Rock Bottom" is.  It shows us that we are human, confronts us with our mortality, and threatens to do us and everyone else around us in.  It contributes to the breaking down of connections with others with a sort of fiery, hellish glee, and it ensures that we feel alone.  Its spirits take from you until you feel like there's nothing left, and if you let its essence do so, it will consume you.  Only the strong and endurant survive and get forged anew.  Those that persist find themselves with a better grasp of their faculties, having been hardened, toughened, and sharpened by the brush with "the Void".

With that in mind, the positive end is that this retrograde is coming to a close on 9/22.  After that, give it a week or so and things should normalize.

For those of you who are magically inclined and thus skilled enough to do the work on your own, I suggest that you work to reclaim what was lost and focus on reaping the rewards due on account of having gotten through this.  You can use the following sigil to do so:
Picture
For those of you who lack the ability to do magic on your own or wish to complement your own work with the assistance of an accomplished sorcerer, I am offering a bit of magic.  I call it the "Mark of the Bold", and it is a bit of spellwork that I have created as a result of my years of practice and study.

The Mark is a rite that embeds energy and intention into your sphere, your energy field, and your very being. Its not unlike a spiritual tattoo, and its purpose is to set you apart from the rest.  Its partially a glamour and partially a blessing, and the goal and intention thereof is to effectively make you special. The purpose is to make you look and act the part of one who is successful and able to walk his or her own path in as victorius and triumphant a manner as possible.

I will be offering this at the price of 150$ until the 27th of September.  After that date, it will be available as a one-off working at a much higher cost. I would suggest jumping on this opportunity if this sounds like something you can use.  You can purchase the working below.

Best of luck and warm regards,

SE

Protection Work

3/3/2014

Over the years, I've encountered a lot of different, strange occurrences. They've more or less become the norm for me, and as a result, I've discovered that its incredibly important to keep up with both protective and purificative work to ensure that I stay in ship shape - you can't be very helpful if you're under attack, as your focus is shifted elsewhere.

Protective magical work takes many forms, can be done in a nearly infinite number of ways, and is more or less effective depending on what's going on.  Some workings provide a bigger safety blanket, whereas others only work on small things.  The jury's out on what's the most effective, as bigger workings don't usually get that specific - I find that they usually have small cracks that stuff can get through, as you're only as well protected as you are specific.

With that in mind, I thought I'd write up an article on various means of protecting oneself, including rituals, prayers, an incense blend, and some generalized insight.

These are the most common forms of protective magic that I am aware of:
  • Prayers
  • Sigils
  • Runes/Bind Runes
  • Incense blends
  • Crystals
  • Witch bottles
  • Apotropaic statues
  • Candle magic
  • Talismans

In this thread, I'll be discussing sigils, prayers, and an incense blend that can be used to do different things.  My goal is to provide you with building blocks, and It'll be up to you to weave your own system from there.

To start, one of the simplest things you can do is to create a sigil for your intended purpose, inscribe it onto a talisman, and then carry said talisman. The use of the physical object will naturally ground your magical work in the physical realm, thereby making it considerably more effective here.

You can formulate sigils however you like.  Some prefer to use an alphabet of desire, others use runes, alchemical symbols, or other drawings, and others just doodle whatever feels right to them.  No one method is the best - its just a matter of what works for you.

As an example, here's a general protection symbol:
Picture

If you decide that you want to get more specific, here's a fiscal protection symbol:
Picture
As you can see from the above symbols, they are relatively simple and uncomplicated at first glance.  Trying to break them down and make sense of what each individual component means, however, will take you a fair deal of time to accomplish.

Once comfortable with the above two, you can venture in to working with and managing the energies of something like this hypersigil:
Picture
Make no mistake, the above is not for general use and would probably be rather harmful for anyone who tried to utilize it without understanding exactly what it means.  The point in showing this, however, is to cause folks to understand that there are many different levels of magical work one can do.  Some of it is simple enough, and other workings are far more intensive.

The more complex a mechanism is, the more energy it takes to power it - its simple physics, taken to a metaphysical level.

Once you've got your base sigil in hand, your next task is to consecrate it.  This can be done in any number of ways, but prayer and incense are the most common.

Prayers can take many forms. Some are brief and concise, whereas others are terribly grandiloquent and long. You could utilize the Orphic Hymns for an appropriate spirit, or you could simply write your God, Goddess, spirit, etc/whatever a letter asking for assistance while providing an offering. It is, again, up to you.

One such prayer commonly used by Christians is St. Patrick's Breastplate, which is about 1600 years old (according to some sources).  It's as follows:
"I bind unto myself today the power of God to hold and lead, His eye to watch, His might to stay, His ear to hearken to my need: the wisdom of my God to teach, His hand to guide, His shield to ward; the Word of God to give me speech, His heavenly host to be my guard.

Christ be with me, Christ within me, Christ behind me,
Christ before me, Christ beside me, Christ to win me,
Christ to comfort me and restore me, Christ beneath me,
Christ above me, Christ in the hearts of all that love me,
Christ in the mouth of friend and stranger.

I bind unto myself the Name, the strong Name of the Trinity, by invocation of the same, the Three in One, and One in Three, of Whom all nature hath creation; Eternal Father, Spirit, Word: praise to the Lord of my salvation, salvation is of Christ the Lord. Amen.

I bind myself to God's power to guide me, God's might to uphold me, God's wisdom to teach me, God's Eye to watch over me, God's Ear to hear me, God's way to lie before me, God's shield to shelter me, God's host to secure me...Against the snares of demons, against the seductions of vices, against the lusts of nature, against everyone who meditates injury to me, whether far or near, few or many."
Another common prayer is Psalm 91:
"The one who lives under the protection of the Most High
dwells in the shadow of the Almighty.

I will say[a] to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust.”
He Himself will deliver you from the hunter’s net,
from the destructive plague.
He will cover you with His feathers;
you will take refuge under His wings.
His faithfulness will be a protective shield.
You will not fear the terror of the night,
the arrow that flies by day,
the plague that stalks in darkness,
or the pestilence that ravages at noon.
Though a thousand fall at your side
and ten thousand at your right hand,
the pestilence will not reach you.
You will only see it with your eyes
and witness the punishment of the wicked.

Because you have made the Lord—my refuge,
the Most High—your dwelling place,
no harm will come to you;
no plague will come near your tent.
For He will give His angels orders concerning you,
to protect you in all your ways.
They will support you with their hands
so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.
You will tread on the lion and the cobra;
you will trample the young lion and the serpent.

Because he is lovingly devoted to Me,
I will deliver him;
I will protect him because he knows My name.
When he calls out to Me, I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble.
I will rescue him and give him honor.
I will satisfy him with a long life
and show him My salvation."
If you're not Christian or Jewish, and would prefer to use something that doesn't invoke the Judeo-Christian god's name, you could just as easily use another prayer instead.

For example, a common one for Muslims is from Abu Dawud 2/89:
In Arabic (transliterated):
"Allaahumma 'innaa naj'aluka fee nuhoorihim wa na'oothu bika min shuroorihim."

Translated to English:
"O Allah, we ask You to restrain them by their necks and we seek refuge in You from their evil."

If you are from a Hindu or Tibetan Buddhist sect, you could use the mantras for a specific Bodhisattva or deity depending on who or what you follow. I frequently use the following blurb of my own creation during my work:
"Maa Ji, I ask for your compassion and aid in this, my time of need.  I find myself surrounded by foes who seek to do me harm and my weapons are not sufficient.

Lend me your aid and trample my foes.  Cut the heads off the wicked, as you did Brahma and suck the life out of these demons!

Om Kalike Shakti Hum"
In following with my own gnosis, after offering such a prayer, I almost always follow with physical offerings to attract the attention, aid, and favor of the spirit in question.

This is where incense, oils, perfumes, candles, and so forth come in.  To stick to the script, so to speak, this is one of the blends I use as an offering and protective incense:

  • 1 part dragon's blood (daemonorops or dracaena/calamus genii- do not use croton!)
  • 1/2 part benzoin
  • 1 part lavender flowers
  • 1 part copal
  • 1/4 part rue
  • 1/4 part asafoetida
  • 2 parts rose petals

Use a mortar and pestle to grind up each part until you've achieved your desired consistency.  When done, you're welcome to add a couple of drops of rose absolute to really oomph up the mixture, but that's not necessary.

This mixture is meant to be burned on a charcoal disc like the 3 Kings brand - this can be found in your local metaphysical shop or online with a bit of searching.

Feel free to experiment and branch out as you feel inclined to do so.  Be careful and consider the properties of the herbs and resins used so that you don't include something that can be used against you. Myrrh, for example, is a wonderful substance when used properly - if you load intention into it, it tends to work for you, but if you don't, it can be twisted and used against you by someone who knows how to do so.

Now you've got the basic tools necessary to craft your own protective workings.  Mix them up and experiment.  Should you require further advice, you're welcome to hit me up and ask away.

Elemental Daemons: Lail-Naj'Ma

Greetings once again, dear readers. As always, I hope that this post finds you in pleasant spirits (forgive the pun).

It'd seem that I am quickly making a habit out of posting information from my personal grimoire, so I thought that I would share another with you lot.

This particular entity, Lail-Naj'Ma, is best categorized as being inbetween what one might consider planetary and elemental, and while she is most comfortable at night, her attributes are both solar and airy. Her strengths revolve around intelligence gathering, helping us to digest information, and other such pursuits.

A yellow candle dressed with a sweet-smelling perfume is perfect as an offering for this one, and while she is generally good-natured, she does not take kindly to stupidity and will grow impatient if you don't listen. She is a spirit with which a respectful tone is mandatory for continued work.

Her sigil is as follows:

Mahakala's Garb

'lo again, my witchy friends. :)

At the urging of a friend of mine, I've written a prayer that may serve as the Buddhist version of St. Patrick's Breastplate.  This piece calls Mahakala, a wrathful emanation of Shiva, for the sake of becoming a walking embodiment of His essence so that we might become the change we wish to see in the world around us.

Use this whenever you feel threatened, hopeless, weakened, or in need of a sense of purpose.  Use this when you feel as though the odds are stacking themselves up against you.

By and through this prayer, one may seek enlightenment and cause others to do the same. Consider the use of this prayer to be an empowerment, if you should so choose.

The Prayer:

Great God Mahakala, I call to you in all of Your forms
I prostrate myself before you
and I bind Your essence within and without me from this day forward
such that those who rise against me shall gain no ground
Let Your compassion flow through me so that I and all others
Might be freed from sickness, hindrances and troubles
I gird myself in Your garbs and pick up Your tools
They empower me such that I may always walk with You
Bettering lives, attracting and fulfilling needs
Providing antidotes for the poisons of the World
Let all seek Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha
As they see this kala which I've become!

You are welcome to use this as you see fit or repost this as you see fit.  Please be sure to give me credit for it, however.

Warm regards,

Experimenting with NAP

6/12/2012

Greetings once again, dear readers.

This, I'll admit, has been a long time coming - I've been intending to write about some of my experiments with Geoff Gray Cobb's "The Miracle of New Avatar Power" for quite some time, but never got around to it 'til now.

Now, some of you might be aware of this book and what it contains, but by and large, the majority of you probably have no idea what the heck I'm referring to. The book (linked above) is a smallish modern grimoire that is, largely, filled with a smattering of hype and magical praxis that is surprisingly effective in today's day and age. The trick is filtering through the sales pitch and finding the gooey goodness that is made from distilling each of the methods therein.  Coming to understand the reason for the simplicity is strikingly beneficial.

That said, I've been experimenting with it, on and off, for the better part of a few years now with varying degrees of success, depending on the arena.  I've also got my ass handed to me by the spirits therein - Elubatel is, admittedly, a bit of a prick, but she's a prick because that's what I wanted.  To illustrate this point, I felt it would be a good idea to cross-post an excerpt I penned over at EvocationMagic.  I also discussed this previously in my blog post titled Depression when working with Elubatel:

"Well, as the title indicates, this thread is about insight I've managed to glean that has everything to do with depression caused by work with Elubatel. For those interested in reading my blog post about this, click here. I am posting it here as well, as it seemed to be plenty important.

The long and short of it is this: Over the past 2 weeks I've had several very odd, instant-karma-like things happening. Its been incredibly frustrating, and probably has everything to do with the work I do for clients. My girlfriend ended up getting exposed to a material she's incredibly allergic to, so I had to take her to the hospital. A day later, my passenger-side front tire had been punctured, so I had to replace two tires. The day after that, more car trouble...I had to take the car into the shop to get an oil change and whatnot. Later that day, I found out that the company that replaced my tires broke the TPMS sensors. And later still, my puppy had to be put down because she had distemper. All-in-all, its been a royal pain in the ass of a couple of weeks, but that got me thinking.

I went through the protection and upkeep checklist I keep, and I found that the one thing that really needed to be done again was a success rite. So, that said, I did my usual preparations and conjured up Elubatel. Mid oration, I realized that I had better backtrack and ask Her a question (yes, She appears to me as a female...dunno why that is, as others seem to have a different view). Specifically, I wanted to know why every time I worked with her, I suddenly got depressed after the fact. Every time, I'd be a whiny little bitch of a man for the next few days for no apparent reason, and I'd always be in a funk that I just couldn't shake myself of. Well, in talking with Her, I discovered that She's granting us success, in open-ended requests, by giving us what our subconscious wants the most. In some people, that just happens to be a reason to tear ourselves down. No idea why it is, but apparently I have that deep-seated masochistic urge, which is rather interesting.

That, of course, leads me to two realizations and boons:
1) I know myself a bit better.
2) I basically just got thumped and told to be more specific.

It certainly made for an interesting reminder, and I thought I'd share it with you folks."

Having said as much, this is one of many such mind-blowing realizations that I've had from working in the system.  That being the case, I am, going forward, hoping to perform more experiments from this book on behalf of my clients, and for my own reasons.

For a limited time, I will be doing the workings from NAP for clients at the cost of 100$, regardless of the spell.  I will choose who I do these workings for, as always, and I will be posting the results here after removing any of the personal data.

Veracity of psychic information

6/12/2012

Greetings, dear readers.  I hope this post finds you well.

Please forgive the tone of this post, as it is, in many ways, a small rant about a topic that has decidedly recurred in my work with clients, and it bears mentioning.

The topic at hand is the veracity of psychic information. To start, let's face it, we all get inklings of information that we don't have cause to know from time to time.  Sometimes its a twinkle in our mind that suggests that our lover is having an affair, or other times its a strong negative feeling about a person or place. Some call it psychicism, others refer to it as instinct, but the long and short of it is that the information is pulled from the ether - either inside or outside of the microcosm.

The fact remains that this information may or may not be correct.  When reading cards, runes, blood, wax, spit, seminal fluids, sweat, drink, crystals, bones, or any other means we are confronted with this psychic source of information which is up to us to interpret.  No cards or other such methods have set interpretations, as much as some might think that they do, for they reflect us and the situation that we are asking about. The very fact that those results are open to interpretation means that it is possible to be dead wrong.

Now, for me, it doesn't happen very often, I've found.  99% of the time, when I feel something is the case, it is, and my friends and family have come to appreciate my talent for being spot on without actually having proof.  I used to spend so much time saying "I told you so" that finally they started to listen. That does not, however, mean that I am always right.  There's still a glaring 1% there, and while it may not come up often, it does still come up from time to time, and there's little that can be done about that until I, or someone else, figure out how to become omniscient.

These things do happen, and, while its unfortunate, that's life for you.  I've found that sometimes we are actually bound to get incorrect information because someone is gunning for us on some level, or the Gods aren't really happy about what we're doing, and have decided to misdirect us. There's no real way around it.

Having said as much, please be aware that if you're going to hire me to do work or a divination for you, keep in mind that I, like you, am human and thereby error-prone. Even the Gods make mistakes, after all, so don't expect that I'll be 100% on target all of the time.

/Rant off.  Thank you for reading, and I hope you have a pleasant day.

Reprogramming a Target

5/29/2012

Picture
Greetings, once again, dear readers.

Some of you may have read my previous post titled "Experimental Working: Reprogramming a Target", which I posted approximately five months ago.  This post is, in many ways, a sort of follow-up to that post and the associated work, as I have had some interesting successes that I feel are worth sharing.

To recap, the aforementioned post revolved around the idea of circumventing the intellectual mind and targeting the subconscious mind directly with the goal of reprogramming a person.  The premise of such work is that we're all pretty messed up because of experiences we've had in the past.

In the past 5 months, I've utilized this work with a handful of people, and each has responded with both varied and staggering results.  Two have noticed a marked increase in their magical abilities as a byproduct of the work (one through dreams, one while waking), several have noticed that they feel a bit more at ease despite having been in some dangerous situations, nearly all have been noticing that life seems to flow in a more comfortable way despite difficulties, and a few other such responses.  All of the involved individuals have, in my opinion, made leaps and bounds during this time, which has been incredible to see.  Each has become markedly stronger and better able to take on difficult situations, and in one case, the frequency of occurences of PTSD episodes have dropped 75-80%.

Its been rough for all involved, as there have been times of panic, discomfort, sleeplessness, upset in the home, and emotional issues, but the end results, thus far, have been well worth it.  Prior to taking on this work, I knew, on some level, that we become one with our work, but these experiments really put things into focus with me on that realm.  I've also learned better ways of using these methods that are less time-consuming and thereby less expensive, which has been really rather interesting.

With that said, I am happy to proclaim that the experiments were a success, and that this will be a service I offer commonly.  For the next few weeks, I will be offering this service for 750$*, and this will encompass the first 10 "takers".  After that point, I will be raising the price to a number I've yet to determine.  One might call this a "good juju" sale of sorts. :)

Regards,

SE

*As of April, 2014, the pricing on this service has changed.  Please contact me directly for a quote.

Working with and defending oneself from the dead

4/25/2012

Picture
As of late, I've found that I am becoming more and more interested, once again, in working with the spirits of the dead.  In saying this, I feel as though I should clarify that I am not speaking on the subject of ancestors: No, I am referring to those shades and revanents of those who share who no relation to me, who may well be dangerous and unsightly.  They range in form and function, cause and effect, and furthermore, they vary in temperament.  Yes, I am indeed speaking of necromancy.

Our ancestors have viewed the dead with a strange mixture of reverence and fear for thousands of years, and leaned more towards one end of the spectrum or the other depending on the culture.  For some reason, they "knew", through some channel, that the dead weren't always happy-go-lucky and willing to pass on peacefully.  That, of course, follows us into modern times where now we don't necessarily have more death and more violence, but its generally a bit more shocking to us than it was during the Dark Ages. This naturally leads to some rather unhappy geists.

That being the case, those of us who do decide that working with the dead is an appropriate praxis are soon confronted with the task of discerning the nature of a spirit and learning to protect ourselves from it if something goes awry and the feces hits the proverbial fan.  As indicated in previous posts, I've been doing this sort of work for many years, I've had my fair share of really nasty things show up, and I've got many scars from it: nightmares, scars from being cut, a scar from a gunshot wound, etc. so its not something for the faint of heart.

In the Norse cosmology, one protected himself by scrawling containing runes on the barrow in which one (who was thought to be aggressive or restless) on the tomb.  When the dead showed up, the thought was that light would take their power away, but other than that, silver was of import, as were runic charms.  In my practice, I've found that using the appropriate galdrar, or projecting the appropriate rune(s) at a target would bar him or her from manifesting, thereby negating the threat.  Other practices involved lopping the dead guy's head off and putting it between his feet, burying the individual face down, or simply burning the corpse. Those methods, while effective if we're dealing with zombies, aren't going to cut it when dealing with a disembodied corpse.

So, I'm sure, at this point, that you're asking yourself "well, if those methods aren't going to work, what can I do?"  It is at this juncture wherein we meet the meat of this post. If the spirit in question seems aggressive, your first line of defense can be prayers, projected sigils of intent, blasts of energy, or countless other methods.  Here are a few of my favorites, escalating in force:

1) Trace the rune Stan, pictured below, and project it at the spirit in question. The rune Stan is a boundary stone, and can be used to block a spirit's manifestation.
Picture
2) Trace the rune Hagal, pictured below, and project it at the aggressing spirit.  The rune Hagal is useful for breaking up energies in an area, as its essentially "chaos in a bottle", so to speak.  This can well be combined with the use of Stan for an even greater push.
Picture
3) Appeal to the Gods presiding over the dead, and ask that the spirit be dragged back to its resting place, forcefully if necessary.  My go-to Goddess, in this case, is Smashan Tara-Ma, pictured below, as She presides over the Shamashan, which is the crematorial grounds upon which bodies are burned and dumped.

If you find the need to appeal to Her, you may do so using this prayer:

"Om Tare Tuttare Ture Soha (repeat thrice)

Homage to you, Smashan Tara-Ma
Whom presides over those who are dead and gone
Whose TURE destroys the Great Fears,
Those deathly shades and demons,
With a wrathful frown upon Your face

Homage to You whose powers of invocation
Call upon the local protectors,
Removing all threats with the letter OM
You bring peace where there once was none

Lay these shades to rest
Remove their burdens
Give them peace

In these rather iffy times, having such an arsenal, however small, is never a bad thing.  I do hope these words have been helpful, and if you have any other ideas for banishing the dead that you'd like to discuss, please comment on this post.

Do's and Don't's of Love Magic

3/15/2012

Greetings once again, dear readers. I do hope my post finds you well in these rather tumultuous times.

it'd seem that love magic's a popular topic these days, as more and more are turning to sorcerers such as myself to get work done, or are taking up the wand and pen and doing it themselves.  I think that is great, as its an important step towards fulfilling the needs detailed in Maslow's Heirarchy of Needs. That said, its a path that can be, in many ways, very tricky to navigate, even if you have been doing magical work for many years.

While morality may not be a concern for the operator, it is indeed a concern for many of the spirits whose duty it is to watch over and maintain balance in the world we live in. That, in many ways, is a topic that could easily warrant several posts of its own, and I may need to undertake such a thing here shortly.  That being the case, it bears mentioning here.  Simply put, we all know that there are plenty of spirits out there who really don't give a hoot about human conceptions of morality, but working with them does have its own perks and drawbacks as well.  If a spirit doesn't care about human morality, it probably isn't going to be interested in bringing you a loved one that you'll have a permanent relationship with.  In fact, if you've made such a pact, chances are that it'll feed off of your lust, need, and want of a target, allow you to attract such a target, and then contribute to the relationship's catastrophic end.  This tends to be the case, in particular, with those that might be called "demonic", as those energies I mentioned are all rather yummy to dine on.

This is why conventional magical wisdom says that if you want to attract someone for sex, do just that, and if you want to attract someone to love you, be sure to do that too. Don't confuse the two, as love and lust are two distinctly different animals, and certainly don't try to combine the two in your working. If love's there, lust tends to follow, as that's the way humans work.  If lust is there, sometimes the love'll follow...in today's politico-religious climate, that tends to be less likely.  Make a point to figure out which one you're feeling, and if you're not sure, ask a professional to divine....it really is worth it.

Once you've got that sorted out, you can proceed accordingly, and avoid getting too confused.  There's nothing wrong with either of them either, and don't let someone tell you otherwise.  If its lust, that's simple to attend, provided you're attractive and there's chemistry.  Evoke your favorite spirit for that goal, and tell him/her you want to knock boots with [name].  If its love, well, now that's the tricky part, and its an instance wherein you had better pick the right tool for the job. You also need to know if your interest actually has any love for you.  If its there, that's great - it may be hidden, but usually its something that can be uncovered and excited. If there's no love there, well, you can try for lust, but that's not a smart idea, as you're setting yourself up for failure.

If, by chance, your target does have some love for you, then you're best off working with spirits like Kurukulla (Red Tara), Khadiravani (Green Tara), Ganesh, Shiva (as Shiva, not as Bhairava or something), Venus, Aphrodite, Ishtar, etc. etc. ad nauseam.  Be aware, however, that these Gods/Goddesses do actually give a damn about human morality in the love department, as they're also concerned with ensuring that things don't get too out of hand down here.  That means that they do, very literally, affect who we love and how we love them.  There are many types of love, and not all of it is romantic, so bear that in mind as well.  If you don't know WHO you want to be in love with, describe, to your chosen spirit, in detail what it is that you love in someone you're interested in, and They will, if its your time, do what needs to be done.

With that, I'll bring this long-winded post to a close.  I do hope that this is helpful to you readers.

Enjoy

Manifesting results with Sorcery

1/27/2012

Greetings, dear readers.  As of late, a topic has come up again that I believe is important enough to discuss.  Specifically, I receive a lot of questions from clients about manifestation timelines and how magic works.  That is a touchy subject, and there's often a lot of conjecture, so I'll focus on explaining my own experiences here.

To address this topic, one must first understand how magic works to some extent. Magic is not a miracle worker's Art, even though it may seem to be from time to time.  Instead, it tends to manifest through existing channels in one's life.  What that means is that in order for you to get a result, you must first have a chance at having that thing happen.  Magical praxis just betters your chances.

That means that you can pray all you want for a winning lottery ticket, but if you don't buy a ticket, you won't have a chance at winning.  Don't get me started on why that's a crappy thing to target....

In any case, such examples are endless.  Understanding that, we then move to workable timelines with regard to getting results. I am a proponent of the 3x3 timeline: you should see a small result in 3 days, a bigger result in 3 weeks, and the attainment of the goal in 3 months.  As a general rule, if you don't see a result by this time, you need to do a bit of divination and re-evaluate your stance.  There are times where the situation has changed enough by that time that the original intent is no longer viable.

As an example, let's say that you've asked for a new Porsche that you can afford.  Well, three months down the road, you may have lost your job - its pretty simple to see that you'll not be able to afford the Porsche in its totality.  Conversely, you might have gotten a better job, but you may not live in a state where people drive those - that can cause issues too.  The point being that this goes back to the earlier note about how you have to have a path to manifestation.  Without that, your success rate is going to be terrible.

Happy casting,

SE
