What use have spirits of the certifications of the living?

1/22/2019

“What use have spirits of the certifications of the living? Each title, each honorific, and every gold star is meaningless to them. The institutions they represent have risen and fallen again & again before them. So too have empires and regimes.

Approach humbly, with open eyes and willing hearts, astute minds and listening ears, for your station matters not.”

-The Horned One
This quote, penned above, is something I heard of a voice deep, full of resonance and emotion. I am quite familiar with this voice, as he's been alongside me for many, many years now.

Normally, I don't share these things with others, but its clear that he wanted those words spoken here. They are to be the basis for a lesson, and so here we are.

We get bent out of shape, in life, over the institutions we see and interact with. So enclosed and ensorcelled are we by our Office that we forget what occurs outside of whatever institution we represent. We are not defined by these things, however, and we become so enamored by what they represent to others that we forget to become enriched by them.

Take pride in your vocation, but do not let life's busy-ness take you away from what is important. Don't let it dissuade you from time with your families, nor keep you from being a decent person. Those things matter to an extreme, as when its time to call for aid, those who have watched you make an ass of yourself will remember.

These are essentially "shower thoughts", but it strikes me as an important memo to share.

Enjoy your day.

PS: Your station can change in an instant. Who you are at your core cannot.

Greetings folks & Happy Holidays! The celebrations of year's end are soon to be upon us, and I hope you're each enjoying the festivities.

Today, I'm here to talk about Idun, wife to Bragi & goddess of apples. Specifically, the apples that grant eternal beauty and immortality, as they are the food of the Gods in Norse mythology. She's rather sparsely known these days, as her role seems to have been largely downplayed in what lore we still have access to, but she's also one of those quiet deities who doesn't have much to say. Idun is subtle, but quite important from what we know.

You see, there's a story about how Loki tricked her into leaving Asgard to find fruits that were supposedly well beyond the measure of what was present within the castle's walls. When she left, the lack of her presence was deeply felt, and the Aesir began to feel their age creep up to them. Their skin crinkled and wrinkled, growing gray as their hairs, and weakness began to set in, for the one who created for them a life-preserving bounty was no longer present.

This was, of course, rather noticeable, and made each of these beings feel most inclined to rescue her from Thjazi, he who swept her away via Loki's trickery. Idun was ultimately rescued, and at the journey's end Thjazi's eagle form was consumed by fire (its a very cool story), bringing back to Asgard the divine boon that was the fruits of Idun's labors.

I mention this here to convey the subtle, substantial importance of such a goddess in life. As with apples, prosperity can go unnoticed by those who possess it until that good fortune is gone. This is a lesson and reminder that one should be careful with their boons & honor those responsible for maintaining them.

Likewise, if prosperity is something you seek to create, call on Idun. Ask her to grace the opportunities you're looking to cultivate with plenty of fertilizer, and request that she help you to know, instinctively, when its time to harvest. That might not seem like much of a boon, but boy howdy, it very much is.

So much of gardening relates itself to timing, and the same can be said for creating a career and making the most of it. To invoke Idun's aid, set out for her a bounteous offering of nuts (almonds and cashews in particular), figs, apples, pears, and licorice root, say a short prayer to her that's from the heart, and then reflect upon your feelings and insights over the course of the day.

Idun takes some time to get used to hearing, as she is quite soft spoken. "Listen", internally, for things that seem a bit glossy and gilded around the edges, as I find those thoughts and insights are most often from her. ;)

Blessings,

Lilith

Greetings folks, I hope the week is treating you well & that your preparations for the holidays are going well at this time. Its been a busy week here at SorcerousEndeavors, but I've gotten another push to write. This time, we're here to talk about Lilith, a much maligned, frequently misunderstood goddess of rather middling repute these days.

This is one of those household names that people seem a bit afraid to speak, which makes good sense given how polarizing an entity she tends to be. There are quite a few stories that have been written about her to date, but the general understanding from a Biblical perspective is that she was the first-made woman who was meant to be a bride to Adam. As the story goes, she was unwilling to lay under him for the sake of lovemaking, and thus went off to seriously upset God and pledge herself to Satan. I'm taking some liberties here, as I don't find her to be adequately depicted by the portrait painted by masculine authority in the days when the mere mention of coitus was taboo.

She is, however, a very strong deity in her own right, and she marches to the beat of her own drum. To say that Lilith is an empowering entity for women is something of an understatement, as she's most interested in her own delectation and doing things her way. When I was heavily involved in the fetishistic leanings of the D/s community, her name came up frequently as a oft-invoked Goddess by slaves and mistresses alike, citing her ability to create a sense of power in situations wherein a woman might feel underappreciated or downplayed. Not ironically, this is the perfect context to meet her in, too, as where else might one see such a power struggle in such a visceral, potentially ugly light?

I've been working with Lilith on and off for years now, and she's an impetuous, willful entity who is both an initiatrix and a challenger of substance. For me, she acted as a kind of gatekeeping entity, creating change by throwing me into the thick of what was going on, forcing me to find my way and challenge my own perceptions in the process. To put this into an example that will be more easily grasped, imagine being in a situation where you're deliberating on whether or not you want to ask someone out...other deities might inspire them to love you from afar or otherwise change their disposition towards you. Lilith will fling you into interactions with that person, creating an environment in which she can actively glamour you and change the way others respond to your words and deeds.

Its a confidence-building experience, to be sure, but it can also be threatening and a tad terrifying. There are easier roads to travel than working with her, but if you've been stuck in the sidelines for the vast majority of your life, she's one way to achieve a kind of personality makeover. Lilith is not a wallflower, and she's pretty well disinclined to let you be one.

With her comes the ability to be embrassed, yes, but also the ability to make use of your embarassment towards productive aims. She will catapult you into the thick of it, and she is a remarkably rebellious spirit, but that's part of what makes Lilith herself, and its that temperament that can create the strongest of beneficial changes.

Lilith will, in corelation to this tendency, force you to develop spiritual chops, so to speak. If you're not terribly comfortable or skilled within the Art, she'll use her influence to bring you down that road. She teaches glamours, sex magic, bits of tantra, self-confidence, and in her way she's got a strongly therapeutic side for those who have been victimized in their lives.

To connect with her, you will print or trace the following sigil:

Picture
Consecrate the image as you see fit, and then say the following:
"Lilitu, Lilitu, Lilitu
From this place I call out to you.
Shrieker in the night, whisper in the dark
To your shapely form and taloned feet we hark.
Entreat with me and enchant my position
Such that the changes I seek come to fruition.

I seek...[note carefully in rhyme what it is that you wish]
Lilitu, Lilitu, Lilitu
Thank you for your presence
I honor you with incense."

Light a stick of lust-inspiring incense for her, fold up her seal and place it in your pocket. Carry it with you.

If you've done this correctly, life will take some interesting turns for you. Take note of each of these developments, as you will wish to grant her accolades in a semi-public fashion for having done so. She craves this validation, so be sure to do so.

Most importantly, enjoy! Have fun with this!

Sif, wife of Thor

Hello and Happy Monday to the followers of my endeavors. I hope each of you has had a wonderfully productive weekend & have returned to the week bright-eyed and bushy-tailed. If not, have some blessings with your coffee! ;)

I am writing this particular article at the direction of Thor, a good friend of mine and rather reliable source of help, for this is about his wife, Sif. She of the golden hair is his relatively silent support, but also a goddess of the wheat fields, fertility, marriage, and the fruits of that union. The name "Sif" is the singular form of the Old Norse word "Sifjar", which implies a marital union, and it speaks to her nature as a Goddess.

Not a whole lot is known about her from a mythological perspective, as the Christian man who recorded many of these stories (none other than Snorri) either didn't have much to work with or didn't care to record what he saw as a "minor deity". As such, we have to rely upon inspiration & UPG in order to carry forward and appropriately understand her influence in our lives.

Sif is a deity that I have a relationship with through Thor, rather than the other way around. I met him many years ago, and while he is not a constant companion, he picks up when I call. In those interactions, Sif has always been a quiet, relatively reserved force, but she is clearly powerful and present despite her tranquility.

I would recommend appealing to her for assistance in separating the wheat from the chaff in your life, as well as in bringing grain to harvest in both a literal and metaphorical sense. These things are her domain, and as such she can well assist you in bringing long-term projects to bear in a flourishing, beneficial way.

Likewise, if you seek to marry another, call to her for approval and see what she has to say on the matter. It has been my experience that you will get your signs and portents through other people in your life, rather than through direct manifestations. I can't tell you how many times a woman of blonde hair has, after working with Thor & Sif, delivered a message that felt to be from her lips...

To invoke her, use this prayer, and then leave for her a cup of mead, honey water, or a cut of grain out for her.

"Sif, treasure of Thor,
She by whom golden locks are bore -
I call out to you and ask for grace
To visit itself upon this place.
For I seek boons that are yours to give,
Happiness, joy, and a wonderful life to live.
Bless me and mine with gentle mien,
And loving wits aplenty, kind and keen.

Blessings to you and me, oh gentle goddess.
For we seek to learn to love those with promise.
[Place here what you seek, preferably in rhyme]"

If you're doing this correctly, you'll likely feel a warmness in your chest and a sense of beaming joy that overtakes you. For me, even in the bleakest of days, she feels like a gentle ray of sunshine that leaves my eyes brimming with happy tears. ;)

Blessings to you, and Happy Holidays.

The Taras

Hello there folks,

For those of you in the United States, I hope you've had a pleasant Thanksgiving weekend.

Continuing on with the process of empowering women through the discussion of helpful & powerful female deities, today I'd like to talk about the Taras.

Now, in the discussion of Tara-Ma, you'll notice that I switch between singular and plural pronouns: this is intentional, as she's essentially one deity with a multitude of faces and manifestations. If you account for each variation as a deific mood, of a kind, you will likely begin to understand and experience her as I do, for she is a multiplicity as a singularity. The ultimate gathering of force and form, in many respects.

Each of these moods represent a multitude of deities gathered into one thread, not unlike hair gathered in a ponytail in some respects. Each form has their own manifestation, tone, tendencies, and strengths, and en masse they are a bit of a circus...all have their own voices, though they're all interrelated and connected through one consciousness.

She is a wonderful being, and her various manifestations are colorful, beautiful, and individually potent. Tara is a Boddhisattvadevi (or female Buddhist Teacher), and her general goal in life is to clear the way such that her followers can learn and improve upon their lives. She cares strongly for a balance in all things and seeks to rectify disturbances either through handling them directly or teaching those who honor her how to unpack their troubles and manage them.

Picture

These faces of hers all have a variety of names, so I'll seek to cover a few of them here:
  • Lalita, The One Who Plays, often shown to be a light green.
  • Ekajati, One Plait Woman, otherwise known as the Blue Tara.
  • Kurukulla, Red Tara known as a weaver of magic and enchantment.
  • Khadiravani, Tara of the Acacia Forest, she is a Green Tara known for teaching and directing growth.
  • Sitatara, the White Tara. I generally see her as the "leader" of the circus, as she's stern, but kind.
  • Ugratara-ma, the Black Tara. Her name translates roughly to "Mean Tara Lady", and its a more Kali-like manifestation that's less kind & quite active.
  • Ayra Tara-ma, another White Tara, she is sweet and kind. Childlike and ancient.
  • Praviratara, another Red Tara, she is swift and powerful, often seen as a heroic being.

These are not all of her aspects, and in truth, she's one of those entities where the specific names aren't needed. Instead, you generally need more of a byway into her realm...a foot in the door, if you will.

Thus, I am writing to give you a foot in that door so that you can begin to work with, learn from, and be inspired by her. Men and women alike can do this, but if you go for refuge in Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha in this way, seeking the way to self-empowerment as a woman, you will get a different, somewhat motherly, somewhat sisterly manifestation of Tara in response.

To begin this practice, print an image of Tara-ma that speaks to you and place it on an altarspace at eye level. Light one candle to the left of it, and a stick of incense to the right. Place an orange in front of her, and begin to chant this mantra: "Om tare tuttare ture soha"

As you do so, try to visualize her sitting in front of you on a lotus blossom. Listen for her voice in response, and watch the way her color shifts as you do this.

Bask in that light, and seek to understand this through contemplation as you go about this process. It won't seem like much at first, but she is a quiet being that becomes louder as attention is given.

Blessings,

Building an Altar

11/21/2018

Picture
've received the memo from my spirits that there's a topic in desperate need of more discussion, so I write this in service to them. When it comes to building an altar, I've seen little published about it, and for the most part it becomes an insanely elaborate affair when it doesn't necessarily need to be. I hope to offer some inspiration to you through this post.

The altar is a place of worship, condensed power, and operative function. It can take any number of shapes, but the shape it takes depends heavily upon the nature of the works you're looking to do. I'd also suggest considering the shape the work you're planning to do, as that should direct your decision-making process.

A Meditational Altar:
For instance, if you're looking to establish a place wherein you're able to meditate and contemplate at the end of a long day, you really don't need much. I'd recommend finding a small table that allows you to easily see the altarspace and what's upon it while sitting...a coffee table or small end table would do. Upon it, I would recommend placing a visual focus and two pillar candles to be lit when you begin your meditations and extinguished upon your completion. Between those candles, place an incense burner, and behind it an image of whatever it is you'd like to meditate upon.

This can then be consecrated to serve as a meditational focus that assists in advancing your progress. It might not seem like much, but it makes a world of difference and can act as a kind of safe abode for internal exploration.

A Christian Altar:
If, however, you're a Christian and wish for a sanctified place upon which you can set vigil candles, make offerings to YHVH & invoke angels, you'll construct it somewhat differently. I would recommend procuring a statue of a Crucifix, holy water, church incense, an incense burner, a white cloth, white candles, candle holders, and your bible.

Set the Crucifix before you, towards the rear of the altar space, and set the white cloth before the Cross. Upon it place the Bible, placing the incense burner between the Crucifix and the Bible. The candles and holders can be placed around the Crucifix to form a square. Then, sanctify the space with holy water by blessing the four corners of the altar whilst orating the Lord's Prayer in Latin.

Then, whenever you feel like you're under duress and could use some divine succor, return to this space, crack the Bible open to the psalm or passage you're interested in, light incense and read the passage aloud. Recognize that Sandalphon will hear your prayers and send them up through the smoke, and use this as a daily or weekly place of worship that can be of great meaning to you.

A Daemonolator's Altar:
To those of you that are more inclined towards working with powers on the opposite end of the spectrum, I would suggest procuring a black cloth, four pieces of iron, and an image of the infernal. Place the cloth in the center of the altar and set the four pieces of iron at its respective corners. Set the seal of the power you wish to work with in the center of the cloth, with an image of the infernal behind it.

When you then feel the need to engage in daemonolatry, come to this space and use the being's enn or invoke them through your own oration. Light for them one red candle and one black candle and connect with them as you see fit.

If you feel inclined to increase the power and potency of the manifestation in play, find a metal bowl, fill it with sand, and place upon it lit charcoal and the appropriate raw incense. Use this as a kind of conjurative focus that brings greater manifestations into the space.

A Witchy Workspace:
If, however, you're the sort to lean less towards the heavens or hells, and more towards the Earth and its powers, you can bring that into your space as well. Procure for yourself an earthenware bowl, dry earth from your area. beeswax, tobacco, and copal, and a small receptacle that fits inside the earthenware bowl. Each day, mix up offerings for the powers of place, ensuring that the offering will fit inside the receptacle inside the bowl, being mindful of what you're looking to achieve that day.

You're welcome to place four candles about the bowl, but I would instead recommend being mindful of the elemental nature of the work you seek to do. When invoking powers of Water, purify water and offer it to those powers. When invoking powers of Fire, use a fire-safe receptacle and light a candle to them. Air?...incense. Earth?...fresh flowers.

An HGA Altar:
Finally, I'll talk a bit about an HGA altar, as that's the form of this I find to be most interesting and rewarding, personally.

For those of you who have K&C with your Holy Guardian Angel, this will be relatively simple. For those of you who have not yet undergone either the Abramelin Operation or some variation thereof, you can adapt this to serve you in that purpose.

Create a sigil or image that to you encompasses the essence of your HGA and make that the centerpiece of your altarspace. Under it place a deep purple cloth shroud, then collect and place upon your altar items that speak to you (and your HGA). They can be crystals, sharp things, candles, witchy tools and herbs, the works...its all you, but you want to make sure that this space is sanctified according to your needs and wants.

I generally like using the Stele of Jeu as a manner of invocation when creating and consecrating this kind of space, as its tech that can be reoriented towards one's higher operative powers with relative ease. If you get it right, this place should sing to every aspect of your being...you'll feel it.

The whole point is to get creative while having a place that works for you and your spirits. You can get as inventive as you like and use that interest to show care and consideration for the spirits. It earns some serious brownie points and generally streamlines the magicospiritual process.

Just a couple of inspirational ideas to get you started. ;)

Enjoy!

Hera

Greetings folks. I hope the day is treating you well. For those of you who celebrate Thanksgiving, good luck to you where the week's processions are concerned.

Today's post surrounding the empowerment of women is a bit darker, and a bit less serene in its way. I'm here to talk some about a Goddess who was repeatedly wronged, as she essentially became the gold standard of fighting to keep her husband despite his rather numerous iniquities. For those of us who are aware of Grecian stories, Zeus' unwillingness to keep his bits in his toga is a rather well-understood point. As such, I am here to speak of Hera.

Hera's husband tended to mess around rather frequently, to the point where she was consistently driven into a rage as a result. Zeus did a fair bit to earn her ire, but through all of this she remained loyal to him, punishing his lovers but always serving him fairly and faithfully despite his many acts against her. Hera is essentially a goddess of monogamy, marriage, fidelitous love, and righteous jealousy, being willing to fight tooth and nail against other lovers and the spawn of those illegitimate liasons.

Thus, if you're in a position where you must fight for your husband or boyfriend, seeking to defend your relationship since outside forces, Hera can be invoked and brought to bear in a meaningful way. If you find that someone's interested in taking your man, call out her name and bring that influence into play such that she might help you to convince him to stay AND incline your rival to take her leave.

To invoke her wrathful form against those who would enroach on your relationship or marriage, lay out a bed of cumin, place upon it a candle and then light in Hera's honor. Say the following words of prayer:

"Hera, great goddess so famed,
Help me to hold onto my claim.
Another seeks to steal my spouse,
Bringing strife and discord into my house.
Render (name of your partner) obedient unto me,
And from this parasite (the name of your competitor) set us free."

Burn a photograph of your enemy in the flame. Then, fold up your partner's image, bind it in red string, and burn the ends of that string in the candle lit in Hera's honor. Carry it in your bra until your competitor has been dealt with.

Hera will, if so inclined, handle this matter for you.

Do note, if she does not do so, then you must understand that she did not see your hold on the man in question as valid. If this happens, then you've been given a clear sign to move on. This will inform your interactions with him going forward and give you the opportunity to leave behind that which does not serve you.

Regards and luck,

Pallas Athena

Hello there folks and Happy Friday.

Following the ongoing process of empowering women through ritual and song, Pallas Athena has asked that I share her hymn and speak to her virtues.

Athena is, in this form, the Goddess of intellect, strategy, and research, known well for her warlike tendencies and utter mastery of the battlefield. She is powerful, sage, and inspiring to man and woman alike, to the point where my brilliant dog is named after her.

To say that I very much love Athena is an understatement, and I hope to share her gifts with you through this process. She can, as her attributes would suggest, be conjured by all those seeking to progress further in the business world, as the boardroom is the new battlefield, where lives and livelihood are lost and gained.

If you find yourself beset by others with no way out, call out to her using this song. Light a mixture of Frankincense, Myrrh, and Cedar Leaf Tips for her, then repeat this oration as many times as you feel is necessary:

"Only-Begotten, noble race of Jove, blessed and fierce, who joy'st in caves to rove:
O, warlike Pallas, whose illustrious kind, ineffable and effable we find:
Magnanimous and fam'd, the rocky height, and groves, and shady mountains thee delight:
In arms rejoicing, who with Furies dire and wild, the souls of mortals dost inspire.
Gymnastic virgin of terrific mind, dire Gorgons bane, unmarried, blessed, kind:
Mother of arts, imperious; understood, rage to the wicked., wisdom to the good:
Female and male, the arts of war are thine, fanatic, much-form'd Drakaina, divine:
O'er the Phlegrean giants rous'd to ire, thy coursers driving, with destruction dire.
Sprung from the head of Jove, of splendid mien, purger of evils, all-victorious queen.
Hear me, O Goddess, when to thee I pray, with supplicating voice both night and day,
And in my latest hour, peace and health, propitious times, and necessary wealth,
And, ever present, be thy vot'ries aid, O, much implor'd, art's parent, blue eyed maid."

She manifests subtly, but strongly, shifting your words and impressions for the better, but also inspires one to achieve where one might otherwise sit back and see what happens. Athena is active, piercing, and wonderful.

Frigga, All-Mother

Hello there folks,

The holiday season is fast approaching once again, and with it comes the Winter. While Winter's coming down the pipes, I find that there's an element of homemaking and care that becomes considerably more important as a result, so I'd like to talk a bit about what you can do to empower yourself and do this more effectively.

In the States, there's a pretty strong tradition of the Holidays being a time when women work the hardest. They clean the home for guests, cook meals for family, plan outings and get-togethers, coordinate activities for children, and essentially handle the lion's share of all there is to occur and manage at the home. This is HARD work, its important work, and its something that I don't see a whole lot of chatter about in the magical world.

In the Norse traditions, there's an aged Goddess who is both gentle and stern, wonderful and willful. She caretakes the home, handles the hearth, cooks a hell of a meal, and acts as a wonderful hostess. I received direction from her recently while partaking in a Winter Nights rite to honor the departed ancestors. This Goddess asked that I use my position to empower women, as far too little is known or discussed about female deities that aren't either a) sexy and interesting, or b) associated with childbirth and motherhood. There's not much of an in-between getting explored, yet that is where the real magic of maintaining and growing occurs.

As such, I am starting upon this with Frigga, the All-Mother of Norse Heathenry. She's the wife of Odin, the God of War, the Lead of the Wild Hunt, and a God of Runic Sorcery. She's a badass in her own right: she's as fierce as the day is long, as warm as a fire on a winter's day, and as compassionate and loving as any mother should be.

This is a woman and Goddess I personally look up to, as she's taught me many things that I never thought I wanted to know. I've come to her for inspiration around sewing, painting, cooking, mothering my critters, being a better father, and being a better husband. Now, I bring to you a blot (pronounced "bloat") in her honor that you can perform to bring her influence into your home.

"Frigga, All Mother and Wife of Odin, I call out to you this day.
Come to me and enjoy the warmth of my home and space,
Bringing your gifts of wisdom and mature love
So that I might learn from you and better care for my family.

She of the happy hearth and busy hall,
Breadmaker, seamstress, and maker of mead.
Gracious gifter of bounty and bond,
I ask that you join me and help me
Lead my family rightly.
"

When you've completed this prayer, light a candle for her, pour her some wine, and then start working on home-bound tasks. Cook dinner, budget, play with your kids, as all of these things are sacred to her and are means of invoking her aid. I most strongly find her present when I'm away from work, focusing on mundane tasks that need doing in a consistent, regular fashion.

When I do so, my home becomes a kind of crossroads, and spirit and human alike are left feeling inspired, happier, and more joyous. Its a simple enough thing, but its simple enough to overlook in turn.

Hail Frigga.

Magic as a Means of Developing the Intellect

10/4/2018

Hail and welcome, folks. Lovely to have you here. As a tertiary result of the multitude of evocations I've been performing of late, I have been moved to communicate an idea through this page, and I hope it catches on. In short, I'm here to talk about the mark of a magician as it applies to one's intellect.

In the Lemegeton/Ars Goetia, there are a number of spirits who are known to "make men wise" or "teach astronomy and liberal philosophy" or otherwise educate us fleshy persons on matters of higher thought. Despite their prevalence, this concept is largely glossed over, often to the point where no mention is made of just how incredibly beneficial this can be.

My own observations have generally indicated that folks want to obtain the result they desire but don't really want to educate themselves around the object of their affections. As a result, spirits like Jazar (educated in matters of love), Marax (teaches astronomy, liberal sciences, the virtues of plants and minerals), Marbas (educates us on hidden things, makes men wise in medicine, and assists in "changing the shape of man") and so forth are largely ignored, their virtues cast aside as being paltry and pointless.

This is a viewpoint that I stand in opposition to, as I rather believe that the mark of a mage is, in part, their intellect and understanding. I've been conjuring, working alongside, and conversing with spirits for essentially as long as I can remember, and for that they've made me wise. I won't profess to be the foremost scientific authority on interstellar phenomenon or a theoretical maths genius, but these interactions have caused me to see and understand the world differently.

How could they not? Your average human being isn't all that inclined to talk to noncorporeal beings of massive force and intellect beyond  the scope of humanity despite their lack of manifest form. The thought is, to most, rather terrifying, but for those of us who dare to do so, I would posit that we should well seek out these alternative educations.

Sure, these learnings won't miraculously end with a doctorate in medicine, but you could well go on to such achievements with the appropriate help. Even if you're simply content to learn as much as possible without the associated degrees, it's entirely possible to apply that knowledge in satisfying ways that also benefit your career immensely.

Case in point, when I was working in Information Technology, I started out as a lowly peon. I had plenty of opportunities to assist folks in a hands-on fashion, remedying everything from forgotten passwords to applications and systems troubleshooting. It was satisfying to be so helpful, but it wasn't challenging, so when an opportunity arose for career advancement, I took it and landed myself in a specialized field wherein I was a complete novice.

As with all promotions, you sink or you swim, so I leveraged my past experience with the application class I was expected to manage and my skill at conjuring spirits to learn how to do my newfound job more effectively (in addition, of course, to studying textbooks and guides on the subject matter). In so doing, I received the respect of of my peers and, more than that, I'd impressed my boss' higher-ups and was offered a 30% raise roughly six months in, and then yet another at a year.

I should stress, too, that during that time I did not spend much time enchanting for a raise. Instead, I focused on performing my function as effectively as I could & worked to earn the respect of those I worked with. Raises and accolades came as a result, but I was far more concerned with ensuring that I could learn how to perform such an incredibly complicated job with success. I did so with a good deal of aplomb, too, and even had moments where spirits would walk me to the answer I sought when puzzling over a difficult problem at work.

As a result, I was often able to find solutions to troubles that others were unable to solve. And when I couldn't do that on my own, I would enchant to work more effectively with my team so that we could solve the trouble & receive praise as a group.

You see, this doesn't seem like a hugely Important thing at first glance, but if you're willing to apply some cleverness, you can do great things with your life and reshape it. You might not be able to return to school to do something different with your life, but if you work with a spirit like Sitri to learn what designs and room flows are aesthetically and emotionally pleasing, you could well become an interior designer as a result.

This is only one such example of how best these spiritual assistants might be applied. While it might not seem quite as powerful or poignant an application at first, the transformative impact can be impressive. I urge you to apply this in your day-to-day life and see how things evolve. ;)

Blessings,
SE
