As of late, I've had a few different communication-centric issues arise with several individuals, and I thought I should address it here given the nature of the issues. This post is not directed at anyone in particular.
One such conversation occurred with a potential client and came to a head a couple of days ago. In my line of business, both during the day as an IT professional, and at night as a sorcerer, communication is of utmost importance. As a result, I spend a great deal of time ensuring that my words are weaved appropriately, as communication issues will bring work to a grinding halt.
That said, every once in a while, I am contacted by an individual who speaks English reasonably well, but still we are unable to communicate effectively. When situations like that arise and we reach a communicative impasse, I will advise the individual to seek assistance from another spirit-worker. Such advice is not intended as a slight in any way; it is not fair to you if I agree to work with you when you have no idea what I am working to achieve. That does not bode well for either of us.
A second conversation occurred today and, while relatively mild, the conversation did motivate me to speak on the subject of rudeness and disrespect. For those of you who are either potential clients or ongoing client, be aware that I do not tolerate rudeness. If you are upset or concerned, please find a constructive way to voice your opinion so that we might address the issue. Throwing verbal feces at one another will not solve anything, and often will lead to many more issues than it solves. That said, please be aware that I will provide offending parties with a single warning. After this point, if such behavior continues I will terminate all work and if there are outstanding payments, they will be due immediately.
Now that these rather important points have been communicated, we arrive upon the final and most important motivation and reason for this post: Mercurial magic. Many of you, I'm sure, are already well aware of what Mercury can and does do for you; to rehash, for those of you who are unaware, Mercury has everything to do with communication and the Sciences. Its the planetary energy that makes it possible for us to communicate with the Divine, and it affects whether or not we are able to convey ideas effectively. Working within the sphere has a fun tendency to better your speaking ideas either directly or through a sort of osmosis.
Now that Mercury is finally out of retrograde, I thought it'd be a good idea to provide a simple working by and through which you might be able to achieve some measurable goals.
The ritual herein is simple, and involves meditating on the powers associated with Mercury, invoking the essence therein, and then making a petition.

Gather two green candles of whatever sort you wish, a lighter or matches, and set them up in a room that's darkened enough for you to focus. Print the glyph below and place it between the two candles; it will be a focal point for you during the ritual.

Light the candles and then sit comfortably. Breathe slowly and rythmically and bring yourself into a light trance. When you feel as though you are ready to begin, stare into the glyph below and begin to repeat the following prayer slowly and rhythmically:

Percolate to the surface
Elevate my self and Self
You may see flashes of lights as this occur, or you may experience auditory hallucinations. This is completely normal.
The best time to perform this work is in the day and hour of Mercury of your particular belief system.
