This can be a wonderfully healthy thing, or it can be relatively disastrous.
It’s an unpopular opinion, but the first step is to get away from the low-hanging fruit that is memes. Memes and the related memetic patterns are amusing, socially relevant images, but they warp the senses a bit. It’s a visual jingle, not unlike the Tripledent Gum scene in Inside Out.....it’s hard to meditate if that’s all your brain can think of to parrot back at you or focus upon.
If you’re feeling stuck, new intellectual patterns are needed and should be encouraged. Get yourself out of your shell, if possible, and do something that you haven't done in a while. Take some time to watch a documentary, read a book, or peruse Pinterest looking at ancient art and architecture. You could easily decide to use Instagram to look at the creations of others, if that's your thing. Any of these things are pretty innocuous, but each of them modifies the internal landscape and changes what your brain has to work with as fuel.
The more varied your information diet is, the more your monkey mind has to work with. The more you have to work with, the more creative you can be. The more creative you can be, the more successful you're able to become.
Do live a little and drink deeply of this world. There's so much that can be achieved with a change of scenery. ;)
Food for thought.
