In honor of today being Friday, the day of Venus, I thought I'd record a bit of information on behalf of the angelic being Anael. To start, there is always a bit of conjecture and uncertainty surrounding this being, in my experience, as many aren't prepared to accept Anael as a female. I will, going forward, refer to Anael as a female, for that is how She has always chosen to reveal Herself to me.
Having said as much, Anael is, for the lack of a better description, the angel ruling over all facets of romantic love. In a lesser-known facet of Her skillset is that She is very helpful in dealing with the emotional issues that surround love, lust, and sexual damage from childhood. I can attest to this firsthand, though that is not the reason for this post.
As I write this post, I will be performing an evocation using my usual methods. For the sake of posterity, I will note that evocations like this one are done without tools, without a circle, and without external forces impeding or manipulating the manifestations. While the manifestations herein might feel physical, they are not actually so.

Love is a complex force despite how simple it seems. It is something that, when coveted, becomes something you lust for. Humans are very unskilled, in recent years, at learning to accept love from others. Love does not start from within, as so many claim, but instead it starts through acceptance.
To love effectively, one must balance what is given and what is taken, what is offered and what is expected. Too often expectation overrides appreciation for what is offered in a relationship and one side feels as though he or she is not being given enough, so he or she pulls back and attempts to bargain and control. This is oft damaging to all parties involved, because expecting too much eventually turns to greed. It is a very human tendency, and it is a facet that must be attended and worked through.

*After drafting up the sigil, it was as if the air around me sighed, and Anael was gone. I ground for a moment, and then continue writing*
