Hello friends & followers! Welcome to 2020! I am now freshly returned from a two week vacation away, and feeling substantially refreshed. The time away was as much about R&R as it was about learning more, gaining perspective, and ruminating on the lessons of 2019....of which there were many!
I hope each and every one of you has had a likewise positive experience through the recent holiday season. This is something to work to uphold, and for those of you who felt the Holidays lacking....well, now is a time to set new patterns in motion.
As we greet the new and bid farewell to the old we stand upon a crossroads; the kind created when two forces intersect. What choices we make now will create momentum and force we will become aware of in the future - what Dominos would you like to set in motion? If I may, I have a few suggestions that will lead to the peace, prosperity, and productivity of your day to day life.
As with all things, we begin with what is most close to us. Those relationships we value have supported us through the year prior, and they will continue to do so in the year ahead should we tend them appropriately. Work to ease the challenges of your friends and family and actively show your appreciation of their good works. Endeavor to smooth out any troublesome wrinkles within friendships tested by the days past, and set into motion new healthy cycles in the process. If there are toxic holdovers that haunt you, make your peace with them and send them packing.
Then, attend your own projects. Are you struggling at work? Work to improve your odds of promotion by handling the political difficulties in the office space. Attract attention to yourself, downplay any perceived flaws and work to impress your colleagues and superiors, using both hard work & magic intelligently.
Use what success you create here to then structure and support what you do at home, using those gains to feed the relationships I discussed initially. Help your friends who struggle and give back to your community. Make offerings to the both the spirits of those who are no more and those at or around your door. Then, use the added support to grow your career and responsibilities alike. These are two wheels, ever in motion, and both must be tended equally lest you begin to drift.
So grease the wheels and start the year off *rightly*! Endeavor to make successful your endeavors, and you will more thoroughly enjoy the year ahead. Here's to achieving tangible goals through magical means!
