While the first three are associated with actually beginning the Work with these spirits, the next seven are more focused on specific life-attributes and changes to occur as a result of these rituals.
First, we begin with Succor:
After doing so, ensure that you take time to rest and recuperate, carving off time for you and you alone. This might seem counterintuitive or counterproductive, but there is much to be said for getting in that necessary R&R. That's how the magic works.
Second, we invoke the process of Self-Regeneration:
Third, we have Sensation:
She will draw attention to you, but it will be yours to do with as you please. Do well, and you will succeed greatly. Do poorly, and the opposite will be true.
Fourth, we have Sincerity:
Utilize this by creating a henna paste and praying to the Serpent Mother. From there, draw this sigil on the hand of the person for whom this magic is for.
It is a blessing, and when appropriately bestowed, it is a means of invoking the most high good they can achieve.I would suggest using this on a person you love, as only good can come of this unless the giver has mixed feelings.
Fifth, we have Serendipity:
This aspect of serpent magic is riskier in nature, however, as it is also a promise that you will work within the flow of what you perceive. If what you receive in turn is synchronicitous indications that your current projects need to be set aside, given up, or ignored, then that is what you must do.
If, however, the signs are in agreement and your process should continue, then your process should continue with due gusto. This can and should be a seen as a means of finding the way through for those who have become accustomed to serpentine spirits and their ways.
This is where we start to get into smaller aspects of the greater practice.
Sixth up to the table, we are greeted with Solitude:
Do this when you're on retreats from the world, when you need to recuperate and recover, when you need to focus on a world other than this one. This is a means of communing while you rest and recover, and the insights this brings will feed into the seventh of these signs.
The seventh is Sovereignty:
It is that which gives us the ability to remain in control of our realms. It is the most potent of the bunch, but its potency is hidden and meant to be understood through your efforts. Once its meaning is understood, Sovereignty will be made manifest in your life. Until then, it will elude you.
Blessings,
Chris
