Working with Elubatel

Evening/Morning, folks. :)

Its a rare day when I get the writing bug during the Witching Hour, but for the moment, I find myself a bit entranced by the allure and pull of a spirit I know well.

Some of you may know of her as a "he" rather than a "she", and some of you may not know of this entity at all; in the Miracle of New Avatar Power by Geoff Gray Cobb, this spirit is called, simply, Elubatel.

For those of you who have worked with her, I don't think I need to stress just how damned effective she is at her job.  For those of you who are unaware and unfamiliar with her, however, it is worth noting that she is a spirit who the text implies will bring one's intentions to successful fruition....one heck of a noticeable function, ain't it?

Ironically, its also something that goes more-or-less unnoticed in the magical world....I guess it just seems, well, too simple and not grandiose.  That is, until you really begin to think on and understand the implications of such workings.

Now, I've talked about Elubatel previously; about how I experienced depression when working with her. About how she wasn't always the easiest to get on with. In reality, my difficulty came from within me, as I've come to realize over the past few months.

What I've also come to realize is that working with her was also a resounding success, even when the results manifested sneakily over a year after the working was done.

With that said, I pen this post for the sake of imparting a bit of wisdom on how one should go about working with Elubatel for the best results.

Picture
Before I speak on the methodologies I employ when utilizing her, I feel as though its important to note the sigil used.  Depicted at the top of this post on the left and directly above this paragraph, over the square of her name, it is a spiritual key.  It cuts the nonsense out of the manifestation, and can be used as a yantra and means of evoking the spirit through gazes.

For those of you who don't know what I mean, if you want to utilize the seal above, clear your temple's space, then print or draw it out on a consecrated piece of paper.  And yes, I would recommend creating a new one each and every time you work with her.

After doing so, I anoint a candle in charged and consecrated Abramelin, Cinnamon, or Bergamot oil, from the wick down, and then say a prayer to my Agathosdaimon, in effect invoking my Self as a Divine Being rather than as an incarnate human. From there, I proceed to place the candle on top of the sigil, light it, then pour her a shot glass' worth of holy water and place it on top of the sigil, in front of the burning candle.

This is where Will comes in, as I simply Will her to appear in the candle's reflection through the holy water while saying a prayer of intention and calling like so:
AIO, IOA, OAI, IAO
Vaki Elubatel, Vaki eða visa tu!
Ek vitki kveðja tu'um
Stir and waken
Stir and appear
Stir and show thyself as I command
You'll notice that I use a smattering of Old Norse in my conjuration, and it is because it is familiar to me and adds force to the words.  As I speak them, I weave in runic intentions and binds to strengthen the manifestation. You are free to so so as you see fit.

Repeat your conjuration as many times as you need til she appears.  You'll know when it happens, as either she'll make it clear through the Sight or something strange will happen with the candle and make it readily apparent, depending on your ability or lack thereof.

When she's appeared, run through the usual tests to ensure that she is actually there and verify that the spirit is who it indicates it is, then relay your charge in a manner like so:
Elubatel, heaven-sent glory-bringer
Hear me and obey, for I am the Son of the Master
I deem it wise for you to bring me success in the matters of my choosing
Go forward and bring my ventures pertaining to [what you need her to assist in] to successful fruition post-haste
I seal this command and conjuration by the Holy Name Yud Heh Vau Heh
And the power the Tetragrammaton embodies
My will be done on Earth as the Master's is done in Heaven
So mote it be!
Let the candle burn itself out, then dispose of the remains.  Be sure to ground yourself out before you operate machinery or anything of the sort.

Have fun, and happy conjuring!

"Vaki Elubatel, Vaki eða visa tu!
Ek vitki kveðja tu'um"

If not too private, I'd be interested in what the Old Norse means here! This lit up my "magical radar" when I read it.

Thanks for the comment and question. :-)

The rough translation is something like this:
"Awake, Elubatel! Awake and appear!
This magus bids you to manifest!"

I use these specific words because of the fact that they form a difficult-to-explain set of inferences and puns in a pan-Scandinavian sort of way that lends the conjuration a great deal of oomph.

To provide an example, "vaki" is the word you'd use when commanding someone to wake up whilst shaking them. In modern Swedish, "vika" means "to bend, yield, or fold", and in Finnish, "Viikate" refers to a scythe. These are linguistically-related set of verbs and noun, so I weave the intentions and meanings of the words together during the conjuration.

To boot, there's also a runic formulae involved in the conjuration...that's even more difficult to explain adequately. Hopefully this little blurb makes sense.

Regards,

SE

How would a person go about doing tests to make sure it is whom you have requested the presence of?

Greetings Trish & thanks for the astute question.

Testing the waters & confirming that you've indeed conjured who you intended to evoke is something of a tricky practice. That's logical, seeing as how you've set out to call upon someone, and if an imposter answers, they're already looking to decieve you. Thus, it falls to you to be cleverer than the intelligence you're speaking with.

With Elubatel, its not (generally) that difficult. In NAP, the word of confirmation used to 'seal' a command is Anaphaxetone, so asking E to confirm its meaning should be enough to do the trick. That's sort of in the realm of obscuranti, and thus works as a means of confirmation.

Anaphaxetone is Greek, and used to "pin" one of the sides of the Evoker's triangle. It signifies a Divine name, and means "By/through the Light", potentially indicating deliverance. If a spirit that arrives is able to articulate as much, then you can guess that its probably Elubatel or some close confidant.

If you're still unsure, then you can apply what you've found in your research to other such queries. With each successful answer, you'll have more indications about the veracity of a spirit.

The same methodology can be used to confirm the nature of other spirits, though be aware that you'll need to use more culturally-relevant information to do so.

Hope that helps!

Encouraging advice. :)

Are you able to elaborate on what you were talking about when you said "Now, I've talked about Elubatel previously; about how I experienced depression when working with her. About how she wasn't always the easiest to get on with. In reality, my difficulty came from within me." Can you explain your difficulty, and how you overcame it? I have read that evoking Elubatel can have a backlash of sorts, so would you consider your depression was such a backlash?

Boe,

Thanks for your comment and question.

I am certainly happy to elaborate. In working with Elubatel, it eventually became pretty clear that her presence caused me to reflect upon what I really wanted in and from life. Every evocation was an instance of me acknowledging the enormity of the task ahead and how little I'd really achieved.

By knowingly staring this down and contemplating each intended milestone along the way of getting to my goal, I was left with an understanding of what needed to be done. By acknowledging this and purposefully working to further my own achievements, I was able to conquer and negate the temporary sense of depression.

This, to me, implies that she causes us to confront any feelings of inadequacy we may have before beginning the task at hand. By contemplating those feelings within ourselves, understanding them, and then working around them, we can further our progress towards our goals and more readily achieve them.

Hope this helps. ;)

Blessings,
Chris

You replied to someone, earlier/above, about questioning these entities to assertion they are who they claim to be...

Does this mean you Hear &/or even Converse with them!?

How can one communicate with an invisible presence OR are you saying the CAN be seen..?

Thanks in Advance

Den',

Thanks for your question. Yes, this means that one can hear and converse with these spirits, though the nature of this 'hearing' changes drastically from spirit to spirit.

Some can manifest physically, with voices that can largely be understood as English. Others manifest as an intelligence which intrudes on the mind, overlaying your thoughts with their words in a way that is largely unmistakeable

There are spirits, too, which manifest wholly in feelings and dreams, 'speaking' through the conveyance of these things. It's all very dependent upon who you're communicating with, as not all spirits are alike.

To get to the point, Elubatel is multifaceted, coming across in rather manifest shows, through overlayed thought-based communications, through emotion and the ability to control those feelings, and through dreams. When Elubatel pops in, the means of interface seems to largely depend on the person, as everyone seems to be just a touch different in their experience. This places Elubatel in a somewhat unique position, as the spirit I experience as a female has an ability to change her shape, countenance, and manifestation according to my needs, rather than being limited in depth and breadth.

I do hope this helps.
Blessings,
-Chris

I have been working with Nitika from Damo Brands magical cashbook, I have to say I have not really had success with it, it's been a month. I have been in the craft for about 20 yrs. And have learned a thing or two ;) and have done my fair share of magic. I am very maticulas about my workings a perfectionist u could say I put alot of time, energy, researc and care in whatever I am doing magically as I did creating the casbook. Some say it worked, some say it didn't, but the one thing that was concerning to me is quit a few people said after it start working the had nightmares about being attacked and such. That was concerning as far as I am concerned. But for me it just doesn't give me the desired results and I do not ask for unreasonably amounts 100, 200 something substantial but reasonable. So I think I will give Elubatel a try, looking at her sigal it really reasonates ith me, Nitika's didn't so much. Anyone else ever worked with Nitika please let me know your experience. And thanks for sharing this information, I will let you know how it went.

Hello there Bae E., and thank you for your contribution to this blog. I've only just returned from a two week vacation, so please forgive the tardiness of this response.

That said, I find it pretty interesting that you've not had much success with Nitika, specifically, when working from Damon Brand's Magical Cashbook. I've not read or used it in the past, but instead first accessed Nitika from the vantage point provided by the Miracle of New Avatar Power by Geoff Gray Cobb.

In so doing, I've had a phenomenal amount of success. This then set the stage for my interacting with Nitika through the lenses of the Nuctemeron by Apollonius of Tyana & Transcendental Magic, its Doctrine and Ritual by Eliphas Levi. (Its worth mentioning that one supplements the other in this context)

In your case, how would you say you're going about working with Nitika? Are you asking for specific amounts, or are you asking for gain on a greater, more widespread level? That has made quite the difference in my workings with him.

Elubatel is likewise rather general in nature, as he/she/it is said to be an "Angel of Omnipotence" as found within the 6th and 7th Books of Moses. I am very interested to see how your later works unfold.

Regards,
SE

Thank you for a great posting, it shed a bit more light on some of the experiences I have had.

Here is my testimony, perhaps this can further the understanding of Elubatel, and again thank you for making this post.

My life has been changed three times with Elubatel, whom I first encountered in Damon Brands book; “Wealth magick”.

The first time Elubatel boosted my income in the job I had quite considerably.

Secondly, I tried to get out of the trap that I was in, I just couldn’t make more money, and I felt that I wasn’t realizing my potential. I worked as a caretaker of a handicapped child using my spare time blogging quite a lot. Essentially I wanted to find a new way with my life, it seemed like a dead end.

So what happened was quite tough, I lost my job, and started looking for a new job. I then got a job as a university teacher, but that was pretty shallow and stressful to me.

Then I worked with Elubatel the third time, through the book New Avatar power, where he can be summoned as a way to suceed in life, in quite a beautiful prayer by the way.

This time around the change has come over a much longer period.

When I started the process, one of my friends helped initiate a new political party that ended up as a huge fiasco. Initially I really wanted to be a part of the new party, but somehow that never materialized.

Now after the party has gone bust, I must say that not being a part of that party was a stroke of pure luck. I am in no way uncertain, that Elubatel really protected me in this situation. My friend has gone from having a promising career to going absolutely bust.

Meanwhile a whole new career path has been opened, I have worked on a very promising project as a tv station producer. It’s not affirmed as of now, but chances are in the green.

If it will work, my life will be changed to the better in a very extreme way, steering around some pretty devastating pitfalls on the way.

Meanwhile, I have supported the progress that I have made with the support of angels.

So my experience is, that Elubatel works very good hand in hand with some of the other angels.

It has been extremely tough, especially since one evolvement wasn’t enough, and the psychological changes you have to make along the way are pretty tough as well. You get out of balance with all the cleaning of your life. But to me this is a more serious way of working magick, because what you accomplish is more viable a lasting. Often magick can be a bit superficial; get some money here, get laid there.

So Elubatel is for the long haul.

But is important that you have a strong psyche to cope with the changes Elubatel gives you, though in the long run, as you take another tour in the carrousel, the pressure seems to be less strong.

Also, strangely enough, the process in New Avatar power is less strong as in Damon Brands book, even though Brand advertise that his process is protected by two other angles.

So I personally prefer the NAP way, it is not so forceful, but changes things a bit slower.

But for sure Elubatel is an extremely powerful angel to work with, because he or she focuses on the deep and lasting work.

That is in all humility my experience. :)

Thank you for the kind words, Asger, and for your contribution to this thread. I can't say that I've utilized Damon Brand's work to engage with Elubatel, but what you've shared here definitely fits the experiences I've had myself and witnessed elsewhere.

Elubatel seems to open doors and then shuttle us through them *just enough* to create the realization that we might have bitten off more than we can chew as a means of creating spiritual and psychological evolution. This, in turn, motivates us to strive forward & to greater heights as a means of helping us to realize our innate potential to achieve more than we would have ever thought possible. As this is occurring, E. seems to force realizations while protecting us from fallout and trouble, allowing the ideas of others to mature or decline as they would have otherwise and affording us the opportunity to watch the process unfold.

Its rather incredible, and I would agree with your assessment that this kind of magic is far more lasting by comparison to other less involved processes. Its literally life-redefinement in the form of angelic magic, and it speaks to Elubatel's reach and wingspan. There's a healing process that occurs a a part of this, too, and that strikes me as often being entirely necessary for the kind of pinnacles we each strive for.

We can get paid here & enjoy the fruits of our labors throughout the process, but its through Elubatel that ambition's goals seem to be made manifest. Hails to Elubatel and to you, Asger, for sharing your thoughts here! I'd love to see more work with "her", as the results we've witnessed are profound!

Blessings,
Chris

Love this blog and I know I am late to it. Am new to magick and am working with NAP. Damon Brand has been hit and miss for me. NAP is more efficient and its Elubatel for now. Just wondering has anyone used NAP to work with two spirits at a time? Say Elubatel and Nitika? And how did that work for you. Nitika works really well to bring in cash from unexpected sources however one also needs success in your path to stop needing the cash injections. I know Cobb explicitly says in NAP to work with only one spell at one time. Would love to know if anyone tried more than one at one time and did it work?

Hey there Shah, thank you. Appreciate the kind words of support.

Yes, you can work with a multitude of spirits concurrently, provided you yourself can manage that kind of energy without burnout. That's the kicker & you want to get a sense of your tiredness before trying to do a bunch of spells at the same time!

Blessings!
